Home alone fans can celebrate Christmas early!
The five-bedroom, six-bathroom home featured in the beloved 1990 movie has hit the market for $5.25 million.
The Winnetka, Illinois estate was the center of the classic holiday film in which eight-year-old Kevin McCallister, played by Macaulay Culkin, is mistakenly left home alone after his family left for the Christmas holidays.

The listing is held by Kathryn Moor and Dawn McKenna of Coldwell Banker Realty.
McKenna tells PEOPLE that the property — which also features a fully equipped gym, a state-of-the-art movie theater, an indoor sports court with a 3-point line and a heated three-car garage — is “a rare legend that lives up to its hype in every way.”

Originally built in 1921, the 9,126-square-foot property sits behind wrought-iron gates on a tree-lined street and boasts a walkable floor plan.
Although renovated in 2018, the home’s foyer, entry staircase and formal living and dining rooms “remain largely unchanged in form and structure,” according to the listing. Some of the newer additions include a family room with high ceilings and French doors that open to the back yard.

Talking about some of their fondest memories, Trisha told the business paper: “Sometimes we’ll hear Kevin scream. It’s so much fun to see people get so excited when they see my house.”
