A woman named Vanessa Quested (46) took a photo of her dog, who had a striking red coat that made him almost invisible in the photo.
She posted the picture on Facebook to see if any of her friends could spot her dog.
In her post, Quested wrote: “Spot the labrador. Our beautiful Hugo is absolutely in love this season.
“They leave all the mud puddles running and rolling in them. This is our first lab and he is 10 months old and it’s such a joy to see the world through his crazy bouncy eyes.
“Trying to find it among the rusted leaves is getting harder.”
Those who saw the photo had a hard time finding her dog.
“I literally can’t find it,” one person wrote.
Another commenter even joked: “I know I should have gone to Specsavers but I can’t see him anywhere.”
Quested revealed that despite the challenge, she thought it would be fun to see who could find her dog.
“I thought it would be a lot of fun trying to spot him. He’s such a beautiful color and really blends in with the fall colors.”

One viewer asked: “Why do you have so many inflatable dogs?”
Another viewer asked: “The real question is how you got your dog to stand still in all this.”
