A post by Central Tuscon Companies (@centraltucson.co) shows a close-up of a cactus plant.

“Can you spot this hidden cat?” Instagrammers asked their followers.

“We swear there’s one in there,” they reassured anyone having difficulty.

Social media users revealed that the animal had been photoshopped to create the illusion.

We can tell that the cat in question is black, making it even harder to spot in the shadows of the desert plant.

If you’re still struggling, turn your attention to the lower left corner of the image.

Onlookers admitted to staring at the scene for several minutes to find the cat.

“I saw it in the bottom corner after a few minutes of squeezing,” wrote one person.

Another Instagram user joked that such a feat required “x-ray vision.”

A black cat can barely be discerned between the two pointed branches in the lower left part of the picture.
