As a survival and hunting technique, animals are often incredibly talented at hiding in their natural habitat.

This hides them from prey and predators.

The darkness of the thicket and the multitude of branches help keep the tiny bird safe and out of sight.

In the picture, brown and green twigs and leaves hide the tiny brown bird and confuse your eyes.

If you’re having a hard time spotting it, a top tip when trying to solve puzzles like these is to look out for the distinctive features of a particular animal.

In this case, the bird’s open beak is a gift for someone who is looking for it.

Also, the bird’s eye view stands out a bit because it doesn’t really fit in with the surroundings.

Many also find it useful to divide the image into equal parts and then work part by part to find what they are looking for.
