Eligibility Criteria for IGNOU MBA Banking and Finance Revised
IGNOU Admission 2023: Indira Gandhi National Open University (IGNOU) has revised the eligibility criteria for admission to the Master of Business Administration (Banking and Finance) (MBF) program. Under the relaxed criteria, IGNOU has removed the requirements for CAIIB certification and two years of experience in banking or finance.
The MBA in Banking and Finance (MBF) program offered by the IGNOU School of Management Studies is a two-year degree program. This is an open distance learning program, developed and implemented through a Memorandum of Understanding between IGNOU and the Indian Institute of Banking and Finance (IIBF).

According to the revised admission criteria for the MBA in Banking and Finance, candidates who have passed a Bachelor’s degree (three-year duration) with at least 50% of the marks are now eligible for the IGNOU program. However, those in the reserved category must secure 45% points. Candidates can apply for admission through the Samarth portal: ignouadmission.samarth.edu.in.

Re-register and register for IGNOU 2023
The school has also extended the deadline for admission and re-registration to 31 July 2023. Candidates can apply for Open and Distance Learning (ODL) programs at the official portal: ignouadmission.samarth. edu.in and online programs at ignouiop. samart.edu.in. Recently, IGNOU also announced the launch of a new Postgraduate Diploma in Service Management from the July 2023 session.
