DANNY Cipriani’s wife has filed for divorce over his drug use — and after hooking up with an American actress.
Victoria, 42, says she “truly believed” the man had changed after the wedding.

But she says the former rugby ace and TV star, 36, secretly texted other women, ate magic mushroom chocolates and took prescription drugs.
Victoria – who is filming the Netflix series Bear Hunt – said she had “pulled the wool over her eyes”.
She said she found his messages to other women and discovered that he would be taking magic mushrooms from noon.
He is now in a relationship with American actress AnnaLynne McCord, and mum-of-two Victoria said: “He’s gone, I’m heartbroken. Then he hook up with AnnaLynne.
“I felt humiliated by him, but now I want to move on with my life.
“He’s so into taking psychedelics that I don’t believe he knows what’s real and what’s not.”
The pair met through a mutual friend in November 2019, and Victoria said he began “love bombing” her.
She said: “He liked my pictures on Instagram and sent me messages. I went to see him and we had love. He went to Malibu.
“We sent a lot of messages, but then Covid came. After that there was a telephone connection.”
Victoria revealed that she was pregnant with Danny’s child, a boy.
She said: “I was shocked and didn’t really know what to do.
“I had to tell him over the phone because he was stuck in Malibu due to quarantine.
“He said, ‘I’m all in.’ He said that we will raise our child together.
“I didn’t take that to mean we were going to be in a relationship. I don’t think any of us knew what was going to happen. But we both did our best for the baby.”
When Danny returned to the UK in May 2020, he and Victoria began living at his home in Cheltenham.

‘Leap forward’
She said: “When we saw each other again, I was in awe of him. As if the pregnancy made him want to be a better person. He knew he had to step up and he wanted to do it for us.
“He told me everything. All about the women he was with. It was difficult to go through everything together, but it was as if we both emptied what we had experienced in life.
“I started to really believe in him. It was still closed so it was a weird time. We were in this bubble of love.”
But Victoria also began to learn the extent of his substance abuse, saying he would take mushroom bars.
She claims he spent around £400 to £600 a month on drugs, which he usually bought on Instagram. His favorite was a bar in LA called Fusion.
She said: “It makes me so sick. It started to upset me. He said every day that he would not do drugs. Then he would be back at them by noon.

“The thing with Danny is, he could be on mushrooms talking to you and you wouldn’t have a clue. He works so well on them.
“Then there are times when it will take a lot to get high and be on another planet. Most of the time he was taking small amounts. He was constantly eating chocolate chips throughout the day.”
In his autobiography Who am I? Danny — in action in England, below — spoke about the mushroom episode in 2020 when he became convinced that Victoria was trying to kill him.
Victoria added: “Danny genuinely believes it helps him in his quest for inner peace.
‘Enough is enough’
“One day he took a large amount and lay on the floor. I thought I would be able to help him, and he said he wanted to stop using drugs. Danny was on a bunch of prescription drugs, and I just said, ‘That’s enough.'”
Tragically in June 2020, Victoria and Danny lost their baby boy, whom they named River, at 23 weeks.
Fighting back tears, Victoria said: “Not long after that I started IVF. Danny desperately wanted a child. I had consecutive IVF for 19 months.”
Victoria told how Danny bought three engagement rings and plastered her car with sticky notes expressing his love for her.
The couple tied the knot in April 2021 and enjoyed a lavish holiday after Covid restrictions were lifted.
She added: “He was incredibly romantic, every few minutes he would tell me he loved me. There would be rose petals on the bed.”
But when Danny stopped playing for Bath, Victoria noticed a change in their relationship.
She said: “I discovered he had numerous apps and messages to other women on his phone.
“I knew his reputation as a ladies’ man, but I honestly believed he had changed.”
Last November, at the Four Seasons in London, Victoria recalled the breakup that “triggered the end.”
He said every day that he would not do drugs. Then he would be back at them by noon

She said: “It was an event with a self-help guru. Danny sat near women he knew from spiritual circles and I began to see more than just friendship.
“I admit that I didn’t handle it well. I shouted at him. I confronted the women and told them he was my husband.”
Victoria later went through his phone where she claims she found “inappropriate” and “flattering” messages to women. She said: “I was shocked, heartbroken.
“They weren’t sexist, but they told women they were beautiful and about the connection he felt with them. You don’t want to read what your husband sends you.
“There were messages to a woman he met a few weeks ago. That’s when I knew it was over. I knew his reputation, but I thought he was a new person.
“I don’t think he’s ever been unfaithful to me. I confronted him about the texts but he brushed me off. We had a huge argument and he left, taking four pairs of jogging bottoms.
“The next thing I knew, he announced that we had agreed to part ways. I couldn’t believe it.”
Danny moved out on November 11, 2023, returning only to collect his belongings. He announced his relationship with 90210 star AnnaLynne, 37, in April, writing: “My miracle. Loving you is the easiest thing.”
He is thought to spend his time between LA and London.
Victoria said: “I hope he finds the happiness he’s looking for. I still believe she is a wonderful person. But now I’ve had my say, so I’d like to get on with my life. This is a new chapter and now I speak from a place of peace, not pain.”
