I’m A Celebrity in on-air blunder as producer appears in the camp just seconds after Nigel Farage is eliminated

I’m A Celebrity seems to have suffered an on-air blunder when the show’s producer turned up at the camp just seconds after Nigel Farage was axed from the series.

Ant and Dec headed to the Aussie camp one last time to find out which star had fallen at the final hurdle in third place.

They achieved the penultimate result of the series in which Nigel Farage was kicked out of the camp.

Nigel looked surprised and relieved as he stood up and prepared to leave the camp for good.

However, a member of the ITV crew was lurking in the bushes and jumped out to offer some instructions to Nigel within seconds, all caught on camera.

The crew member could be seen holding some production notes as she told Nigel what to do next.

A wide shot of the camp was then shown on the screens for a few seconds as the bosses struggled to cover up what was happening.

Soon the camera returned to Ant & Dec as they ignored the accident live.

The show then went into a commercial break before continuing as normal with Nigel being interviewed by the hosts.

Controversial politician Nigel was kicked out of the camp at the last opportunity when he finished in third place on the programme.

Boxer Tony Bellew and reality star and radio DJ Sam Thompson were left to fight before it was revealed that Sam was declared the winner.

Sam was visibly shocked when Ant and Dec called his name in tonight’s live final.

He jumped into the arms of runner-up Tony Bellew when he was announced as the winner.

He said: “Oh my God. I’m really beside myself.

“I didn’t think I would even be invited to the show. I don’t know what to say.

“Oh my God. I’m so grateful, thank you so much. I’ve dreamed of doing this show for years and years.

“You made a boy’s dream come true. Thank you.”

Earlier in the show, fans shared their thoughts on Nigel’s exit with some even thinking This Morning host Josie Gibson deserved to be in the bottom three instead of presenter.

One fan said: “Thank goodness Nigel didn’t make the top 2. Josie should still be theirs but Sam and Tony are a great top 2. SAM TO WIN! #ImACeleb.”

Another user declared: “Never forget how funny Josie is #ImACeleb.”

While a third said: “Brilliant final 2!! Wish Josie and Danielle were there too #ImACeleb.”
