There was a fierce storm and strong winds in Manila Bay. The boy stood motionless even though the weather was bad and he was freezing cold.
The friendly leader was at the pier, wearing yellow shorts and a blue shirt on this cold day.
He was putting a blanket over the head of a cat laying on the jetty. He did this to protect the mother cat from heavy rain and storms.
As for Linus Escador, a journalist, the heartbreaking scene was filmed during a powerful storm in 2015.
When the boy noticed that the cat was giving birth, he thought of nothing but saving the cat. He didn’t even think about his own safety. It is very wet under heavy rain and frost.
Some time later, the regional animal fund rescued the mother cat and her cubs. The boy was a true hero and behaved bravely and very gently.
Thanks to him, now the mother cat and the kittens are living happily. Always remember that animals need our support and care. This boy’s actions show that humanity still exists.
