SOME optical illusions are so good that they make you see things that aren’t there.
Others, like the one below, will trick your mind into thinking objects are invisible.

So, can you discover the hidden object?
This illusion shows a chessboard and its reflection in a mirror.
However, when you look in the mirror, you will see a phantom White Queen that is not visible on the chessboard.
The effect leaves a mysterious empty square in the foreground.
According to the Illusion of the Year website, the illusion creates a “camouflaged cloak of invisibility that shields the queen from a viewing angle.”
Seen from another angle, from the reflection of the mirror, the shape and drawing of the shield also hides its presence.
This anamorphic camouflage looks like a flat surface.
And it tricks the human eye by making objects invisible.
