Incredible optical illusion leaves Arsenal fans worried about Gabriel Jesus on return to training following knee injury

ARSENAL fans were concerned about the return of Gabriel Jesus after a photo taken at the training ground, but all is not as it seems.

In a video on social media, Jesus participates in full contact training, but his right leg appears to be withered.

And this generated concern among the club’s fans who hoped that he would soon be able to return to the courts.

One tweeted: “I’m not going to lie, I’m concerned about how shriveled Gabriel Jesus’ leg has become during his time on the sidelines.”

Another commented: “I didn’t know Arsenal used Dr. Nick Riviera as their surgeon on call.”

Jesus is out of the World Cup after knee surgery.

But on closer inspection, you can see that the “withered leg” is actually an optical illusion, and the other player’s hand.

This led some sharp-eyed fans to mock the bizarre image.

One said: “VAR will have a good day against us because of the hand when GJ clears the corner.”

Another quipped: “How about those boots? ‘They fit like spit’.”
