Director Brad Bird (who also voices Edna Mode) told Deadline back in 2018 about the potential for a third sequel: “I’d rather say I’m not closed to it, but I’m not thinking about it. It’s like the last thing that After I’m the Moon swam in the ocean today, I need to do something else for a while, and we’ll see what the future holds.”

Some other upcoming Disney animated sequels in the pipeline include Frozen 3, Zootopia 2, Toy Story 5 and Moana 2. Plus, Pixar has an original movie Elio in theaters June 13, 2025 and newly announced Funnels.
