Indira Devi (1952–2022) was an Indian woman and the mother of the famous Telugu actor Mahesh Babu. She is also known for being the wife of veteran Telugu actor Krishna Ghattamaneni. She passed away due to illness on September 28, 2022, at AIG Hospital, Hyderabad. Her son Mahesh Babu shared the news of her death on social media. He wrote,

The couple has two sons, famous Telugu actors Mahesh Babu and Ramesh Babu. Ramesh Babu passed away on January 10, 2022 due to age-related illnesses. Ramesh Babu is a Telugu actor and producer. He is the founder of a production company called Krishna Productions Pvt. In 2004, he started producing Telugu films under his own production company with his brother Mahesh Babu. Mahesh appeared in the popular Telugu films Arjun and Athidhi produced by Ramesh Babu.

According to Mahesh Babu, he visits his mother’s house before every movie. He enjoyed a cup of coffee she brewed herself and thought it was like “prasada” from the temple. In early 2022, in an interview with media reporters, Mahesh talked about his fate with Indira Devi. He said,
I went to my mom’s house for coffee before the movie because I thought coffee was like Pasada Brought to me from the temple. “
