Millie Bobby Brown and her husband Jake Bongiovi are in newlywed bliss ahead of this year’s holiday season!

A source close to the couple tells PEOPLE that Brown, 20, and Bongiovi, 22, are “enjoying a magical year” as husband and wife and can’t wait to celebrate their first holiday as newlyweds.

“Millie is very happy with Jake. She loves celebrating Thanksgiving with Jake and his family,” the insider says. “She raves about his mom’s cooking. Their family gatherings are always very special and welcoming.”

Despite her love for Thanksgiving, the source says it’s Christmas Stranger Things star’s “absolute favorite vacation.”

“He always starts decorating early. Now he accepts it even more because [a] married [woman]”, the source adds.

The couple, who first sparked romance rumors in June 2021, secretly tied the knot in May 2024 during a “very low-key, romantic affair with close family.” At the time, PEOPLE confirmed that Bongiovi’s parents, Jon Bon Jovi and Dorothea Bongiovi, were in attendance along with Brown’s parents.

Shortly afterwards, the rocker proudly confirmed in a recording of his appearance on the BBC that the couple had married The One Show shared on X, formerly Twitter, on Tuesday, May 28.

“They’re great,” said Bon Jovi, 62. “They’re absolutely fantastic. It was a very small family wedding and the bride looked beautiful and Jake is as happy as can be. It’s true.”

A few months later, Brown and the Bongios hosted a lavish Italian wedding and shared photos of the happy celebration on their Instagram accounts.

“Forever and always, your wife,” the actress captioned the photo carousel, which included photos from their nuptials and two of Brown’s stunning wedding dresses.

Bongiovi also took to Instagram to share his series of pictures from the couple’s special day.

“Forever and always, your husband,” he commented on the photos of the newlyweds. On its carousel, a couple can be seen exchanging vows under a white floral arch. In other photos, the couple smiles in front of rows of tall trees. Bongiovi could also be seen sharing the clip with his father.
