Ireland Baldwin Shares First Look at Baby Daughter Holland's Face on Her First Mother's Day: 'Changed My Life'

Ireland Baldwin celebrates her first Mother’s Day!

On Sunday, May 12, the 28-year-old entrepreneur — daughter of Alec Baldwin and Kim Basinger — spent her first Mother’s Day with her daughter Holland, 11 months, and her boyfriend RAC (born André Allen Anjos).

The couple made a face to share photos of Holland for the first time, after previously sharing photos of the girl looking away from the camera or her face covered in a sticker. A carousel of photos shared on Instagram on Sunday, May 12 shows the mother and daughter lying down and laughing together in several pictures.

“Thank you for making me a mom! You changed my life and everything I’ve ever known,” Ireland wrote in the caption. “I don’t know why I’m making this post to you because a) you can’t read yet and b) instagram will probably be a distant memory when you can, but I’m so proud to have made you !!!”

Ireland Baldwin shares candid birth photo, jokes she’ll show it to baby girl ‘when she talks’

In an Instagram Q&A in October, Baldwin got candid about her transition to motherhood when asked how she and Holland were doing.

“I’m not going to lie … there were times where I was so overwhelmed with all the changes … but overall, things have been wonderful,” Baldwin said.

“She is so much fun to spend time with and get to know her,” enthused the new mom. “I’d say most of the stress I’ve been under lately really has nothing to do with her. Being overtired just makes it worse.”

Last April, Baldwin celebrated her first Easter in the Netherlands, taking to her Instagram Stories to share a glimpse of their holiday celebration. Mother and daughter greeted different farm animals, posing outdoors. In one photo, Holland reached out to stroke the horse from the safety of her mother’s arms.

In December, the proud mom shared several photos from her daughter’s first Christmas while talking about her changing feelings about the holidays as a child of divorce, who now has a child.

In an Instagram post, Baldwin said she appreciated “my first chance to show her off [daughter] all the things I was looking for elsewhere.” She added, “What a privilege to be able to celebrate today with friends, select family, good food and a warm fire.”

“It’s impossible to ignore all the pain and suffering in our world and how I wish every child could be loved like mine. I hope everyone celebrating has a safe and happy Christmas.” Baldwin continued.
