Selena Gomez has a mani inspired by wedding dresses.
It makes total sense considering she’s been in post-engagement bliss since her boyfriend, Benny Blanco, popped the question with a stunning marquise diamond in December. For the past few weeks, Gomez, 32, has been spotted wearing a sheer, slightly shimmery shade of pink on her nails, ushering in an era of chic weddings for the star.
Luckily, the singer and actress’ longtime artist Tom Bachik shared the exact color he used on her. The shade, Pink Whip, comes from his eponymous collection of magnetic gel nail polish pens. The pen is currently available on the brand’s website for $15.80 and boasts easy, mess-free application.
“Marquise Diamonds and Pink Whip💎💗🍦,” Bachik captioned a Dec. 20 Instagram post. In the accompanying photo, Gomez holds her hand up to a mirror to take a selfie, showing off her soft pink manicure. The nail artist concludes the caption with: “@selenagomez in her Tom Bachik Click Colors Multi-Purpose Magnetic Gel. Color “Pink Whip”💅🏻 #nailsbytombachik @shoptombachik.”

On December 28, Bachik posted another photo of Gomez wearing eyeshadow while holding what appears to be a cocktail. The next day, he shared his “last glam of the year” to Emilia Perez star, wearing a crimson ensemble and matching red lipstick alongside her subtly glittery light pink nails.

After Gomez’s engagement, Bachik revealed the exact shades in which he created her manicure for the big moment: Chanel Le Vernis in Ballerina and Chanel Le Gel Coat. The semi-transparent nude color on the short, rounded nails perfectly complemented the massive sparkling diamond that Blanco had given her.

“We just wanted beautiful manicured nails,” Bachik told PEOPLE about the look. “We chose a fresh sheer pink to give her a perfectly manicured, high-shine look that evens out the tone and just accentuates her natural nail. We kept her nails short, strong, and naturally almond-shaped to complete the look.”

Gomez debuted the manicure that morning at the Academy Women’s Luncheon presented by Chanel. The star, who has been nominated for two Golden Globes, wore a textured jacket with a white collar and cuffs and a matching skirt embellished with buttons.
Gomez and Blanco began dating in June 2023, but had known each other for years before and collaborated on several songs. In December 2023 Just the murders in the building star confirmed their relationship when she “liked” fan posts on the couple’s Instagram, even commenting, “He’s my absolute everything in my heart,” on one. The couple made their red carpet debut at the 2024 Emmys in January.
