Isabella Strahan is living life to the fullest more than a year after being diagnosed and treated for a malignant brain tumor.
The model (20) shared photos of herself and her sister Sophia from The Albany resort in the Bahamas on Friday, December 27.
The pictures show a smiling Strahan walking and posing on a sandy beach in a black bikini with floral motifs and earrings.
“And we’re back,” wrote the daughter of former couple Michael Strahan and Jean Muggli.
In October 2023, Strahan started experiencing severe headaches and even vomited blood. At her father’s persuasion, she underwent an MRI and was diagnosed with medulloblastoma, a malignant brain tumor in the cerebellum.
Just a few weeks later, on October 27, the day before her 19th birthday, she underwent surgery to remove the mass. Six weeks of radiation therapy followed, and Strahan documented every step along the way. In December, she proudly rang the bell to mark the end of her radiation therapy.
The family spent the holidays in the Bahamas in 2023, and Strahan still wore a shaved head because she had chemotherapy.

In the months that followed, her road to recovery was slowed by setbacks, including side effects to chemotherapy and unexpected craniotomy (surgeries) that delayed her treatment.
In June 2024, eight months after her diagnosis — and with a lot of perseverance — Strahan finished chemotherapy. She and Sophia celebrated with a TikTok dance to “Let Em’ Know” by Bryson Tiller, her favorite artist.
On June 14, she rang the bell again, signaling the end of chemotherapy.
“I’m officially done with chemotherapy! Whoops! This was a long journey, but I made it,” she said in her vlog at the time. “Now I have to recover and get back to my normal state, which will take a long time, but with treatments.”
“I’m so proud of you and I love you girls❤️❤️,” Michael told his daughter as she reflected on her “craziest 8 months.”
In December 2024, Isabella Strahan is celebrating being cancer free in the Bahamas.

The current trip to the Bahamas marked not only a return to the island, but also her life before the tumor. She has a short pixie haircut and a big smile that she didn’t have a year ago.
