Madonna Apologizes to Toronto for Saying ‘Hello, Boston’: ‘What Kind of F—ed Up S— Is That?’

Madonna was only focused on the “music” and not the venue at one of her recent shows.

The pop megastar, 65, was performing a pair of her Celebration Tour concerts at Scotiabank Arena in Toronto last week, but she momentarily forgot where she was.

During Madonna’s concert on Friday, January 12, she greeted the crowd with “Hello, Boston,” before quickly apologizing and making amends. She was in Boston at the TD Garden for her last two shows.

“Are you mad at me for saying ‘Hello, Boston!’?” the “Hung Up” singer asked the crowd in a fan-made TikTok video. “I’m sorry. What the hell is that? That would be like saying, ‘Hey, Lady Gaga is playing tonight!'”
