Mariah Carey struck gold wearing bronze at the Recording Academy Honors.
On Thursday, the five-time Grammy winner accepted the Black Music Collective’s Global Impact Award at the Recording Academy Honors.
The superstar, 54, arrived in an ethereal outfit that included a bronze corseted bodysuit topped with a copper tulle skirt. The voluminous skirt was tied in a large bow at the hip, revealing the singer’s legs and sparkling pointe heels.

The singer’s metallic-inspired look included plenty of sparkling jewels, including a diamond choker necklace, diamond earrings and a diamond choker.
The singer of the song “Possed” completed her ensemble with a glamorous bronze look. She wore glossy nude lips and a dark brown smokey eye. Carey’s glamorous look was finished with an old Hollywood-inspired hairstyle.

Newly single Mariah Carey is celebrating 2024 by posting a rare photo of the ‘bad side’ of her face
During the 2024 Recording Academy Honors presented by Black Music Collective, Carey received the Recording Academy Global Impact Award, the CEO Merit Award.
Her honor “recognizes Black music creators whose dedication to the art form has greatly impacted the industry and whose legacy of service inspires countless individuals around the world, celebrating those who, through leadership and passion, empower others to embrace their authenticity and contribute to positive change,” it said. in a press release from the Recording Academy.
Lenny Kravitz was also presented Thursday with the Global Impact Award, another CEO Merit Award that “recognizes black music creators whose dedication to the art form has greatly impacted the industry,” according to the Recording Academy.

Carey spent the holiday season flaunting several glamorous looks across the country. She was spotted out and about in Aspen, Colorado, wearing a white peplum mini skirt, white opaque leggings, a fitted white top, a pair of platform lined knee high boots and a Prada Re-Nylon Cropped Convertible Jacket.
Carey’s performance in Colorado followed a monochromatic moment in New York — where she taped her closing night Christmas concert at Madison Square Garden. She was seen wearing a black top, black pants, silver strappy heels, black shades and a diamond necklace.
The 66th Grammy Awards will take place at the Crypto.com Arena in Los Angeles on Sunday, February 4 at 8:00 PM ET/5:00 PM PT.
