Isla Fisher Thanks Fans for 'Kindness and Support' a Month After Sacha Baron Cohen Divorce News

Isla Fisher is grateful for the support of her fans.

On May 14, the actress (48) shared a photo of herself smiling against a sunny outdoor background on her Instagram stories and wrote in the caption: “Thank you for all your kindness and support 😘.”

Fisher’s message comes just over a month after she and Sacha Baron Cohen, who married in 2010, announced they were quietly filing for divorce in 2023.

She and Baron Cohen, 52, first met at a party in Fisher’s native Australia in 2001 and later became engaged in 2004. They have three children together.

“After a long tennis match of over twenty years, we are finally hanging up our rackets. We filed for divorce together in 2023,” they wrote in a statement on Instagram on April 5.

“We have always prioritized our privacy and have been quietly working on this change,” they added. “We share our devotion and love for our children forever. We sincerely appreciate your respecting our family’s desire for privacy.”

Before announcing their divorce, Fisher shared a photo of herself with Naomi Watts, Michelle Dockery and producer Bruno Papandre in London filming a “girls night at the theatre” for a performance of the film California hills April 3. Fisher also shared a picture of herself on Instagram on April 30, captioning it, “BTS Dogman.”

Fisher is working on a number of projects, including one film slated for release in 2024, a family comedy called Present. In it, she stars with Greg Kinnear as parents on the brink of announcing their three children are splitting up, when their children realize that an old watch they’ve been given by their grandfather gives them the power to turn back time. They try to use power to prevent the parents from breaking up.

Fisher also has a role in the following You see me now a sequel, as well as a film currently in production Play date and director Noah Baumbach’s next film with Adam Sandler and George Clooney.
