Game of Thrones star Jack Gleeson has married his long-term girlfriend Roisin O’Mahony. They exchanged vows in The Sacred Heart Church in The Glen, Ballinskelligs, County Kerry, Ireland, during their wedding ceremony. Father Lynch, the parish priest of the church, shared photos from the wedding and provided various facts about the ceremony. He described the wedding ceremony as quiet, contemplative, and respectful. Gleeson and O’Mahony were photographed inside the church, standing beside the priest. Another photo showed the couple holding hands and smiling for the camera. Father Lynch said that this was a pre-wedding ceremony and went on to say:
“The actual wedding will be held in England, but the family has been vacationing at Ballinskelligs, The Glen, for many years and has many wonderful memories here. We enjoyed a beautiful, solemn, and respectful wedding ceremony. This morning, Jack contacted me to say that the ceremony was amazing and poignant, and that they then went out to eat.”
Father Lynch also noted that the event’s simplicity was something that everyone enjoyed. He continued by saying that when he first met Jack, he felt like they had known one other for a long time.
