Leslie Griffith Passed Away At The Age Of 66

Leslie Griffith, a well-known presenter and reporter died on August 10, 2022 at the age of 66, and the cause of her death has not yet been determined. Griffith, who was on KTVU, was diagnosed with Lyme disease after being bitten by a tick in 2015. However, it’s not certain if the condition played a role in her death. A member of Griffith’s family told how Lyme disease affected her health after a tick bite. Since 2016, the host has been living in Mexico. Symptoms of Lyme disease vary depending on the stage of infection and include fever, rash, facial paralysis, and arthritis. The cause of Griffith’s death is unclear at this time, however, it is possible that she died as a result of age-related health problems. There is no information available on whether she had any other health problems besides Lyme disease.

Leslie Griffith, born January 1, 1956, was a well-known writer and journalist. She began her career at the Associated Press and The Denver Post before moving to KTVU, where she spent 25 years as a writer and news anchor. For 22 years, she worked as a general assignment reporter and anchor for KTVU’s original 10-year newscast in the San Francisco Bay Area. Griffith was the lone weekend news anchor for nine years, spending her 25th birthday in Moscow covering the Cold War.

Despite working in difficult conditions, she managed to gather information and create stories. She was considered a breaking news expert and the only one who could provide information when important news was trending around the world. Leslie made sure viewers had up-to-date information on everything happening in the world. Over the years, she highlighted the problem of tuberculosis in circus elephants and worked tirelessly to remove all elephants from circuses. In 2005, she established the Leslie R. Griffith Woman of Courage Scholarship to help young women.
