Jackass' Steve-O Shows Off 20-Lb. Weight Loss in Leopard Print Speedo

Steve-O celebrates the progress he’s made on his weight loss journey.

On May 10, the former Fool star posted a before-and-after photo on Instagram, sharing that he lost 20 pounds. since focusing on his health in February. In the photo, the 49-year-old flexes his muscles while wearing nothing but leopard print speedos.

“These photos are three months and TWENTY POUNDS apart! It’s my 50th birthday next month and I’ve decided to kick Father Time as hard as I can by being as healthy as possible,” he captioned the post. “Ranch life is good, thanks so much to @jbird48 for taking my sexy ‘after’ photos!”

Part of the reality star’s healthy lifestyle includes maintaining his sobriety.

Steve-O, whose real name is Stephen Glover, has been unflinchingly honest about his addiction and past drug use. In March, he celebrated 16 years of sobriety.

On March 10, he celebrated the milestone on Instagram with a photo of himself transformed, thanking his friend and Fool co-creator Johnny Knoxville for helping him in 2008.

“It’s really crazy that today I’m celebrating sixteen years of sobriety,” he wrote. “It all started when @johnnyknoxville orchestrated the intervention that saved my life on March 9, 2008. I can’t even put into words how grateful I am for my recovery… Thank you Captain!!!”

Back in September 2022, Steve-O published his book A Hard Kick in the Nuts: What I’ve Learned from a Lifetime of Terrible Decisionsin which he talked about his journey to sobriety after struggling with numerous forms of addiction.

“It was more of an exercise in just understanding that I don’t know how to control anything and kind of accepting that moderation is not my strong suit,” he told PEOPLE. “Accepting who you are and what’s not going to change with that, I think is a big part of it for me. I’ve accepted that I’m never going to be a moderation guy.”

He continued, “In terms of addiction, I think it’s kind of surrendering to the recovery process… the first step in the 12 steps is admitting that we’re powerless in our lives. We admit defeat, you know? And you give up when you’re defeated. That’s kind of how you’re dealing with addictions.”

Steve-O credited much of his positive change to longtime fiancée Lux Wright. “I don’t believe there’s a single person in my orbit who’s even remotely close to me or cares about me at all, who doesn’t recognize that in my relationship with Lux, I’m a better version of myself,” the actor and comedian said.
