Jackky Bhagnani made his acting debut with the film “Rehnaa Hai Terre Dil Mein” (2001) in which he appeared briefly. He made his starring debut in 2009 with the film Kal Kissne Dekha. During the COVID-19 induced lockdown in 2020, Jackky released the song “Muskurayega India” through his record label “Jjust Music” in collaboration with Akshay Kumar’s Cape Of Good Films. In 2021, a 28-year-old former model lodged a police complaint at Mumbai’s Bandra station against nine Bollywood celebrities, including Jackky Bhagnani. She accused them of raping and molesting her between 2014 and 2019. She claims she was sexually harassed under the false guise of getting acting opportunities. Based on her complaint, the police booked Bhagnani and others under sections 376 (repeated rape of the same woman) and 354 (obscenity) of the Indian Penal Code.
