Jacob Elordi Brings Barry Keoghan Home for a Summer of Debauchery in New Saltburn Trailer

Jacob Elordi turns Barry Keoghan’s summer vacation upside down in their new film.

On Thursday, Amazon MGM Studios released a new trailer for director Emerald Fennell’s new film Saltburndescribed as a “beautifully wicked tale of privilege and desire” in the official synopsis.

The film stars Keoghan (31) as a circa-2006 Oxford University student named Oliver who is invited by his new friend Felix (Elordi, 26) to spend the summer at his family’s estate.

SaltburnIn the trailer, Oliver and Felix meet just as two new friends meet for the first time — Oliver offers Felix, whose bike has a flat tire, a ride back to campus. When Oliver confides in Felix that he comes from a difficult family, Oliver brings Felix home to Saltburn, where he meets characters played by Rosamund Pike and Archie Madekwe (Gran Turismo), among others.

In Saltburn, Oliver is thrown into the heady world of well-dressed party-worthy aristocrats and seems to be starting to lose his sense of self. At one point, the residents of Saltburn are shown taking part in karaoke — in another, Oliver hits a mirror and breaks the glass.
