JADA Pinkett Smith has revealed she has been secretly separated from her husband Will for seven years.
The actress (52) admitted that they were trying to “figure out” what the future of their marriage looks like.

Jada and Will, 55, married in Baltimore on New Year’s Eve 1997, while she was pregnant with their son Jaden, now 25.
Reflecting on their relationship, she told People: “We’re still figuring it out. We did really hard work together.
“We’re just deeply in love with each other and we’re going to figure out what that looks like for us.”
As for their kids, the Red Table Talk star said, “My kids, they’re little gurus. They taught me a deep sense of self-acceptance.”
Will and Jada have a daughter, Willow (22), and Jaden and Will have a son, Trey (30), from a previous marriage.
Jada will share more details about their relationship in an interview with Hota Kotba on NBC News, which will air later this morning.
In the preview video, Hoda asked Jada about an incident in their 2016 marriage.
“Since 2016, which is seven years ago now, you’ve all been…” the Today host said, using hand gestures to show the distance between them.
Jada replied, “Yes,” as she spread her arms.
The split revelation comes after Will and Jada admitted in 2020 that she had a romance with musician August Alsin, who was 25 at the time.
This happened when she and Will secretly split in 2015.
JADINA’S CONFESSION
During their joint appearance on Red Table Talk, Jada said: “Four and a half years ago [I] started a friendship with Augusto and we became very, very good friends and it all started with him simply needing help and me wanting to help his health and mental state.”
Speaking directly to Will, she added: “The outpourings for him from our family were initially about his health.
“We found all these different resources to help get him out and, since then, you and I have been going through a very difficult time.”
Will added, “I’m done with your motherfucker, marriages have that,” to which Jada said, “We broke up.”
Pushing her to continue, Will asked, “So what did you do, Jada?”
She replied, “As time went on, I got into a different kind of entanglement with Augusto.”
‘PLOT’
When Will asked what she meant by involvement, his wife told him, “It was a relationship, absolutely.”
She went on to say that her time with Augusto was a “personal journey” and that while she “didn’t like how it turned out,” it was “total love.”
Will then asked what she wanted from her romance with Augusta, and she replied, “I wanted to feel good. It’s been so long since I’ve felt good.”
She added that it helped her realize that “you can’t find happiness outside of yourself.”
Will and Jada rekindled their romance after her relationship with Augusta.
The pair revealed they can “laugh” at the situation because it was “so long ago” and their “experiences working with it, fighting it, talking about it”.
They ended the conversation with a fist bump and a high-five, with Jada praising Will for “finding the deep capacity to love me.”
Also in her People interview, Jada broke her silence on Will slamming comedian Chris Rock at the 2022 Oscars.
The Fresh Prince star hit out at Chris after he joked about Jada – who has alopecia – being bald.
Jada, who sat next to Will at the awards, said: “I thought, ‘This is a skit.’
“I thought, ‘There’s no way Will hit him.’ It wasn’t until Will started walking back to his chair that I realized it wasn’t a skit.”
