Jagadeesha Suchith started playing cricket at the age of 9 or 10 with Mysore Sports Club. Jagadeesha has also played for Karnataka in several age groups including U-16, U-19, U-22 and U-25. He played for South Zone twice and even played in the 2014-2015 Vijay Hazare Trophy and 2014-2015 Ranji Trophy. Several IPL teams noticed his performances during the Karnataka Premier League and Mumbai Indians bought him before he made his first-class debut. Mumbai Indians bought him for a base price of Rs 10 lakh. After making his IPL debut for Mumbai Indians, Jagadeesha played his first-class match for Karnataka against Bangladesh A and helped the team win the match. In 2019, he was acquired by Delhi Capitals and in 2020, Kings XI Punjab reached an agreement with Delhi Capitals where KXIP traded Ravichandran Ashwin for Rs 1.5 crore and Suchith.
