Age and Early Life of Jaidev Thackeray
Jaidev Thackeray was born between 1955 and 1958. He was born in Mumbai, where his father dedicated his life to serving the people of Maharashtra. However, it is not known where he received his education and degree, but we believe that like his brother Uddhav Thackeray, Jaidev attended Balmohan Vidyamandir and subsequently graduated from Sir JJ Institute of Applied Arts.

Career
We have minimal information about Jaidev Thackeray’s career. However, there were rumors that Jaidev would join the Congress party between 2004 and 2009. However, he never joined. From 2011 to 2018, Jaidev made headlines for filing a case against his father for not giving a share of his property. Balasaheb Thackeray bequeathed most of his estate to his son Uddhav Thackeray but left a little to his estranged son Jaidev.
Bal Thackeray said in his will that all his assets will go to Uddhav and one other close family member. Jaidev’s son Aaishvary Thackeray was given the first floor of Bal Thackeray’s three-storey “Matoshree” house in suburban Bandra. On 13 December 2011, Jaidev filed a suit challenging Bal Thackeray’s will. However, Bala Saheb died in 2012. In 2013, Uddhav testified in court about his father’s will. Later that year, Jaidev dropped the complaint without providing a convincing explanation.

Smita is known in Bollywood for her work as a social activist and film producer. She founded Rahul Productions and Mukkti Foundation. After his divorce from Smita, Jaidev married Anuradha and gave birth to a daughter, Madhuri Thackeray.
