Jake Gyllenhaal has fond memories of filming the upcoming movie House on the road remake.
On Wednesday, Brokeback Mountain The 43-year-old actor shared some shots from the set on Instagram, once again showing off the results of the intense physical transformation he underwent for the film.
Gyllenhaal was shirtless in several shots, showing off his steamy physique in one image as he stood next to stuntman Steve Brown, director Doug Liman and stunt coordinator Garrett Warren.

Further footage showed him behind the scenes, with him punching Liman in the second bang. Gyllenhaal hailed Liman in the title, insisting he learned a lot from him Bourne Identity director on set.
“House on the road is the result of bringing together so many talented people, with Doug at the helm,” the Emergency the star began.

“I’ve always admired both the original style and diversity of his work. Whether it’s action, comedy or drama, it’s hard to take your eyes off a Doug Liman film,” Gyllenhaal continued.
“I am deeply grateful for what I learned from him House on the road. He is a generous director, a great friend and human being. A few of my favorite moments with DL in DR…” he concluded in the caption.
Gyllenhaal shared more memorabilia from his time on set, including posting footage of himself taking an ice bath in what appeared to be a large trash can.

House on the roadwhich Prime Video describes as a “high-octane, adrenaline-pumping reimagining” of Patrick Swayze’s 1989 film, is set for a March 21 release.
In the film, Gyllenhaal plays a former UFC fighter named Dalton, who takes a job as a bouncer at a bar in the Florida Keys after his professional fighting days are over.
Dalton begins intimidating some of the bar’s unruly customers before he and its owner (Jessica Williams) are threatened by a group of people who want to take the property for themselves.

Before the film’s release, Gyllenhaal made sure to thank original star Swayze, who died on September 14, 2009 at the age of 57 after being diagnosed with pancreatic cancer.
On Sunday, Gyllenhaal shared a memory of the couple’s photo, writing in the caption: “Thinking about the time I spent working with Patrick on Donnie Darkoand re-watching this great in the original House on the road plus so many other movies. I never stopped being a fan.
“He was such a talent and I still have so much respect and admiration for what he put out into the world. I’ll never forget his kindness to me when I was starting out – he didn’t have to take the time, but he always did. We did it differently Republic of Croatia this time, but hoping it would be one he’d find fun to watch!”
