Jamie Lynn Spears is joking. Daughter Maddie wasn’t impressed with mom’s ‘stupid’ post from her softball game

Still, her daughters were her main source of support, Spears said.

“My 15-year-old self was actually very motivated to do it, which was actually very surprising,” Spears said. “My 15-year-old said, ‘You’re going to dance on TV? What are you doing mom?’ But she said, ‘Mom, you have to do it.’ She’s an athlete, so I think she wants to see me work hard.”

As for her chemistry with Bersten, 29, Spears said, “He was wonderful.”

“My family got to meet him and he was great. I wouldn’t want to do that with anyone else,” she added.

The pro agreed and praised Spears as “so hardworking and so dedicated.”

“While everyone else in my community is on strike, I have this unique opportunity where I have been offered the opportunity to work when my community cannot work,” she said. “So I figured I’d do this and donate my weekly wages… to give back to them at a time when I couldn’t give back to myself.”
