Jamie Lynn Spears has left the jungle.
The actress (32) left the British reality series I’m a celebrity…Get me out of hereaccording to ITV.
“Jamie Lynn Spears has left for health reasons,” a network spokesperson said in a statement. “She was a fantastic campmate who triumphed at the trials and connected well with her fellow celebrities.”
A spokesperson said Spears had left camp in Australia, where the series is filmed, and her castmates had been informed she would not be returning. Her final appearance in the series will be Wednesday night’s episode, which will air in the UK
The Zoey 101 star openly battled homesickness while taking part in the show, which premiered on ITV on November 19. During last week’s episode, she became emotional about being away from her daughters, Maddie, 15, and Ivey, 5.
“I don’t know how I’m so emotionally weak,” she told actors Danielle Harold and Sam Thompson, prompting them to step in and encourage her.

“You’re so strong. This is hard, baby, hard. So hard. It’s not easy,” Harold Spears said.
“It’s important to remember that you come from a completely different continent, you don’t know anyone here, it’s hard. It’s really hard,” Thompson encouraged her.
Harold added, “Look at what you’ve been through in your life, haven’t you? This, a little rain in the jungle, is nothing.”
Spears told the two that she could handle whatever was thrown at her as long as she could “go home to my babies at night.”
“That’s it, that’s all I need in my life. I feel a little bit overwhelmed. They’re not even close,” she explained. “I just have to do it. I don’t know why I’m such a baby.”

In November, it was revealed that Spears would take part in the long-running competition show in the UK, where celebrity contestants are pushed to the limit in grueling challenges involving creatures.
“I’m absolutely terrified of everything,” Spears said in a statement to ITV ahead of the season 23 premiere. At the time, she added that she was “very excited and nervous” about going on the show and that she was ready to show the world her authentic self.
“There’s literally every misconception you can have about me as a person, so I don’t take any of that seriously,” she said.

Spears’ I’m a celebrity stint came after her elimination from Dancing with the stars in the second week of the fair in October.
Spears – who shares daughter Maddie with ex Casey Aldridge and Ivey with husband Jamie Watson – was partnered with professional dancer Alan Bersten and donated her weekly earnings to the WGA and SAG-AFTRA during their then-ongoing strikes.
