January Jones and Kiernan Shipka posed together in black and white on Sunday to celebrate the holiday season. Jones captioned the set of three photos: “Happy Holidays from the Mayor of Hollywood and me 🎅🏼🎄❤️”

During the seven seasons of the AMC series from 2007 to 2015, the actresses played mother/daughter duo Betty Draper (Jones) and Sally Draper (Shipka). Betty was a sometimes cold mother figure, who died of lung cancer in her 30s. Sally was the eldest daughter in the family, who became the centerpiece of the series when she became an adolescent.

This is not the first time that Jones (45) and Shipka (24) have reunited off-screen. In 2019, they appeared together in the Rodarte Spring Summer 2020 campaign. Other members of the cast often join in their off-screen moments. In 2020, Jon Hamm, who played patriarch Don Draper, attended Shipka’s 20th birthday party.

Christina Hendricks joined the girls for the 2021 outing, and Jones, Hamm and Talia Balsam, Elisabeth Moss and John Slattery posed together at the 90th Academy Awards in 2018.

Earlier this year, Shipka called filming the series as a child — at age 7 — “intense.”

“I’m surprised because at the time I didn’t think it was hard work,” she said Page six. “I didn’t know anything else. That’s what I did. But looking back, I’m like, ‘Yeah, well, that was really intense.’

She also recounted her time on screen with Jones while talking to Andy Cohen Watch what’s happening live 2022. She admitted that working with Jones was “more intimidating” than Hamm. “I think it’s January because she’s always been a little mean to me in scenes,” The Creepy Adventures of Sabrina the alum said. – So it’s a little scarier.
