Jason Kelce Celebrates His Christmas Song with Brother Travis Hitting No. 1 on iTunes: ‘Incredibly Humbling’

The Kelce brothers have added another impressive achievement to their belts — and this time it’s not related to football.

Travis Kelce debuted this week with his brother Jason Kelce A Philly special ChristmasJason’s second Christmas album with fellow Philadelphians.

Jason talked Travis into doing a sibling duet this year, and their song, “Fairytale of Philadelphia,” dropped on Wednesday. Within hours, it had broken into the top 10 on iTunes, as Jason proudly shared on X (formerly Twitter).

“This is incredibly humbling, thank you all for your support!!” Jason, 36, wrote as he shared a screenshot of the song at number eight on the charts.

Hours later, the song climbed all the way to No. 1, and the Eagles player shared a hilarious GIF of Will Ferrell from Dwarf jumping up and down with excitement in response to the news.

Podcast brothers, New heights with Jason and Travis Kelcealso retweeted the news and shared a GIF of Kansas City Chiefs tight end Travis saying in a postgame interview, “Anything’s possible, baby.”

On the track, which allowed the NFL stars to embrace their brotherly love, Philadelphia-style, Travis, 34, sang some playful jabs at his older brother, including calling him a “fake” and an “a–” and hoping “this Christmas will be our last.”

Although the song was Travis’ musical debut, it was nothing new for Jason, who released his first Christmas album last year with fellow Eagles Lane Johnson and Jordan Mailat. This year is the second iteration for the trio and has become an annual effort to raise money for charity.

Last year they raised over $1 million for local charities in Philadelphia.

During a recent appearance on Today show, the NFL trio discussed their second Christmas sequel, and Jason even broached the subject of his brother’s new girlfriend, Taylor Swift, possibly getting involved in the future.

“Maybe, not this, not this time,” he said after Today co-host Sheinelle Jones asked about the possibility of Swift joining. “That would be pretty amazing, maybe in the future.”

The record also features a duet between Mailata, 26, and Patti LaBelle, with the trio taking on the biggest Christmas hit ever, Mariah Carey’s “All I Want For Christmas”.

“At first it was a little nervous, just because [I] I can’t do the same tonality as the Queen of the Holidays,” said Mailata covering Carey’s classic hit. “She’s amazing. So we kind of had to turn a few wrenches back and, you know, put our flavor on it. And I thought it turned out really well.”

Unlike Jason and Johnson, Mailata has a history with singing. Appeared in season 7 Masked singer and impressed the judges and the audience with his vocal talent.

“I was a singer first before any athlete,” said the Australian athlete.
