Oh no, Travis Kelce!
In the latest episode of the Kelce brothers’ podcast New heightsThe Kansas City Chiefs tight end, 34, shared his reaction to the public attention he and girlfriend Taylor Swift received while in Australia on her recent Eras Tour.
But the conversation took a turn when Kelce inexplicably confused Yoko Ono – the singer and wife of the late Beatles singer John Lennon – with Olympic figure skater Apollo Anton Ohno.
“Hey, you’re like the Beatles… Yoko Ono,” Jason told his brother, after Travis commented on “all the cameras” present when he landed Down Under.

“I’m like the Beatles,” Travis replied, laughing. “Yoko Ono. Like a speed skater?”
Jason then completely lost it and started laughing at his brother’s failure.
“You’re thinking of Apolo Anton Ohn,” answered the recently retired Kelce. “Oh my god, that’s freaking funny.”

But Jason, 36, admitted he’s not entirely in the mood for It himself.
“I don’t even know the full story of Yoko Ono,” he said. “I know she was with John Lennon and that’s about as far as I know.”
He added: “Maybe she was a skater, who knows?”

But Travis, clearly ready to move on, then interjected, “Speed skater, speed skater.”
For the record, Ono (91) is an artist, singer, songwriter and peace activist who was married to Lennon from 1969 until his death in 1980.
Meanwhile, Ohno, 41, won eight Olympic medals in three Winter Games from 2002 to 2010 in short track speed skating.
One detail maybe Travis didn’t know – or maybe he did? — which might explain his confusion: Ohno was raised by his father, whose name is Yuki Ohno.
