At the age of 24, she began working at Bisleri under the guidance of her father. She started her career working in Bisleri’s Delhi office. She renovated factories and helped automate various processes. She revamped and led the company’s human resources and sales and marketing departments. In January 2008, she became a director of Bisleri International. In 2011, she headed the Mumbai office. She works in new product development. She is responsible for the operations of Bisleri mineral water, Vedica natural mineral water from the Himalayas (luxury segment), carbonated juice drinks and Bisleri hand purifiers. She is involved in digital marketing and branding of Bisleri products. She is responsible for advertising and communications development at Bisleri. She revealed in an interview that when she first joined the company, she used to feel pressured by how to deal with teammates who were older than herself, but now, she knows how to deal with it, she said,
You have to show them examples of what other companies are doing. For example, my dad’s generation is not a social media generation, so I have to show them what competition means. ”

That will happen. I can’t always be careful about it. I try to be polite but also a little firm, you know, because you have to get something done and it’s work at the end of the day. But I still have a lot to learn about being patient and keeping things under control. Hope I can do better. ”

On November 24, 2022, some media reported that her father Ramesh J. Chauhan was looking for potential buyers for Bisleri International as his daughter Jayanti did not want to take over his business. She was reportedly not interested in handling his business and wanted to do something else, which is why he decided to sell his company. Later, Ramesh J. Chauhan decided to sell Bisleri International to Tata Consumer Products for Rs 7,000 crore. In an interview, regarding the sale of the company to the Tata Group, he said:
The Tata Group will do a better job of nurturing and taking care of it, although selling Bisleri will still be a painful decision. I liked Tata’s values and culture of integrity, so despite the aggression of other interested buyers, I made up my mind. It’s not just the value I get from it, it’s my desire to find a home that will take the same care of it as I do. This is a business I created with passion and is now run by employees who are equally passionate. ”
In March 2023, reports emerged that Jayanti Chauhan would lead the bottled water company after Tata Consumer Products Ltd (TCPL) exited the acquisition process. Ramesh Chauhan revealed this in an interview and said:
