Manvir Singh was born on Monday, November 6, 1995, in Dukhre village, Jalandhar district, Punjab (28 years old; as of 2023). His zodiac sign is Scorpio. He studied at Khalsa College and later joined Minerva College (now Punjab Football Club) in Chandigarh. Between 2015 and 2017, he represented Minerva Academy and Mohammedan SC in the second division of the I-League. In the 2017 Santosh Trophy final, Manvir scored the winning goal for West Bengal against Goa, which ended in a 1-0 draw.

international careers
Manvir represented India U23 in the 2018 AFC U-23 Championship qualifiers against Syria, Qatar and Turkmenistan. He scored his first goal for India U23 in a match against Turkmenistan on 23 July 2017. Thereafter, he was called up by coach Stefan Constantine to participate in the 2017 Heroes Three Kingdoms Series. Manvir made his debut for the national team on 19 August 2017 against Mauritius, which India won 2–1. His first goal for the national team came against the Maldives at the 2018 SAFF Championship on September 9, 2018. India won 2-0, with Manvir scoring the second goal of the match.
He then scored twice in the semi-final against arch-rival Pakistan, which India won 3-1. On November 16, 2023, India achieved a historic victory against the host Kuwait in the 2026 World Cup qualifiers. He scored the only goal of the game and India eventually led 1-0.

FC Goa 2017-2020
Manvir joined FC Goa on July 28, 2017. He made his debut for the club on 19 November 2017 in a match against Chennaiyin FC in the 2017–18 Indian Premier League. His first goal in the 2018-19 Indian Premier League came on 11 November 2019 against Kerela Blasters FC. Manvir won his first trophy with the club in the 2019-20 season, which included the ISL League Champions Shield and the 2019 Indian Super Cup.
Mohun Bagan: 2020 to present
Manvir signed a 3-year contract with ATK Mohun Bagan club on August 25, 2020 for a record transfer fee. He made his debut for the club on 20 November 2020 against Kerala Blasters, a match that was won 1–0 by ATK Mohun Bagan. On November 27, Manvir scored his first goal for the club against SC East Bengal and led the team to a 2-0 win.
Manvir scored in the second leg of the semi-final against NorthEast United to help the team reach the final of the 2020-21 ISL season, where they defeated ATK Mohun Bagan 3-2. Manvir’s contributions helped his team win the 2022-23 Indian Premier League title and the 2023 Durand Cup.
