JC Chasez took some friendly snaps with *NSYNC bandmate Chris Kirkpatrick at the age, talking about how Kirkpatrick, 53, might need medical help to survive a live performance.
“He’ll probably need some knee cream. He probably needs some aspirin,” Chasez, 48, joked with hosts Keltie Knight, Becca Tobin and Jac Vanek during the Tuesday, Nov. 26, episode of the LadyGang podcast. “We are different people these days.”
Kirkpatrick’s Pop 2000 Tour — which features 2000s superstars such as LFO’s Brad Fischetti, O-Town, BBMak and Ryan Cabrera — is teaming up with LadyGang’s upcoming LadyWorld retreat in Destin, Fla., hosts said. Before his arrival, they asked him if they needed to prepare anything for him.

“What does he need backstage? Is there a warm-up backstage?” – asked the Chasez hosts.
This prompted Chasez to think of Kirkpatrick, who was the oldest member of their boy band and helped bring the group together. (The other members of the boy band are Justin Timberlake, 43, Joey Fatone, 47, and Lance Bass, 45.) “It’s very different from what it was,” he said.
Chasez — who recently released a music concept album Playing with firea reinterpretation of Mary Shelley Frankenstein — also took aim at himself, saying, “I’m not performing anymore.”

But if he does take the stage, Chasez joked, “I’m shirtless, and I’m pushing 50.”
But kidding aside, the singer had nothing but love for his longtime bandmate, praising Kirkpatrick’s humor. “He’s the funniest man alive,” Chasez said.
Chasez added, “He’s funny and quick, and he’ll throw jokes at you and you’ll realize they landed about two minutes later. You’re going to say, ‘Wait, what – what – what did he just say?’ ”
