JD McDonagh Suffers Broken Ribs, Punctured Lung During WWE Raw Match

JD McDonagh recently suffered a serious injury during WWE “Monday night RAW” on Monday, January 27th.

The WWE star for judgments, 34, suffered a broken rib and pierced the lungs during the World Cup match with Dominic Mysterio against Raiders, Erika (Raymond Rowe) and Ivar (Todd James Smith).

During the match, McDonagh tried to start from a middle rope and make Monsault Backflip to throw out one of the war raiders. He successfully contacted Ivar, but then hit the back of the head on the announcement table.

McDonagh finished the game, but several fans reported that they saw him falling into the floor fields.

“McDonagh is happy he doesn’t have a damn broken neck,” said Michael Cole announcer during the show, Per Fox News.

After the match, McDonagh posted on social networks and assured fans that he was good. “First, thanks to everyone for messages and concerns. I’m good,” he began in his X post on Monday, January 27th.

He continued, “I have a few broken ribs and pierced lungs, so I’ll be out for a few months. Everything that is taken into account, it could be much worse, so I’m grateful for that. See you a little.”

In the foreseeable future, they will remain outside the ring.

As a result of his injuries, he will not compete at the upcoming Royal Rumble event on Saturday, February 1st. In addition, it is not clear whether on Saturday, April 19th and Sunday, April 20, to compete in the Wrestlemania 2025, and on Sunday, April 20, in Las Vegas.
