In 2022, Jeeva appeared in the Bollywood film “Govinda Naam Mera” along with actors Kiara Advani, Vicky Kaushal and Bhumi Pednekar. Jeeva spoke about his debut film in an interview and said;

- According to Jeeva, he hated movies as a child because his father died in almost every movie he saw. In an interview, he said he found another reason to hate movies when he watched his mother’s movie, in which she was also killed by a monster. As he matured, he realized that his parents were playing a role in the movie. He was even shocked after seeing his father’s acting skills and achievements in the industry.
- When he was young, he preferred directing to acting. When he became interested in acting, he didn’t think he wanted to get roles the way his father had. He said in an interview that he attended multiple auditions and was rejected multiple times before signing up for the 2022 film Govinda Naam Mera.
- When Jeeva decided to become an actor, he didn’t tell his father about it. Ranjit often asked him if he wanted to act, but he never told him. He was shocked when Jeeva told him and later coached him in acting.
- In an interview, he said that he did not tell his father about signing the film “Govinda Naam Mera” and told him only after five to six months. Ranjit was initially shocked by the news but later became extremely happy about his son’s debut. He announced his son’s debut on Instagram and said, “Ab mera beta, Govinda ke bade Problem ka beta.”
