Jen Shah Responds to Heather Gay’s Claims That She Bruised Her Eye During Season 3 The Real Housewives of Salt Lake City.

After Gay, 49, finally claimed that her former co-star, 50, inflicted a mysterious injury on her during Tuesday’s Season 4 finale of the Bravo series, Shah hit back at the allegations on her Instagram Story.

Shah wrote: “Well done, if I had punched Heather in the eye you would have the footage to prove it. It’s clear that the show can’t live without me since I was brought up in the beginning, middle and end of Season 4.”

The mum-of-two – who is currently serving a five-year prison sentence for her role in a long-running telemarketing scheme – continued, “Andy [Cohen] he’s still hurt that I turned down his 1:1 interview. Why would you sit with someone who “gave” another cast member a bruised eye? Next story.”

Gaya’s confession came as she and her co-stars Lisa Barlow, Meredith Marks and Whitney Rose confronted new housemate Monica Garcia over her alleged involvement in Instagram troll account Reality Von Tease.

“We’re friends and we’ve been through this s—s— with Jen,” Gay said, adding that the women “put down feelings of doubt” with the former housewife and “things that didn’t add up.”

“I went on a book tour and defended her and took s— for the fact that she bruised my eye,” she explained.

“I had to ride hard for her [Shah] and I had to lie for her,” continued Gay Garcia, 40. “We’re not going to do that with you again. Pack your bags and go.”

Gay ended up with a bruise over her left eye after a night of partying with co-stars Shah and Marks in San Diego during season three.

At the time it was not clear exactly how Bad Mormon the author was injured because the Bravo cameras were not working at the time.

And as she showed Marks her bruised eye in front of Shah the next morning, Gay told her, “I don’t know how it happened, I don’t remember.”

She later told her cousin and co-star Rose: “I think we all know what happened, I just don’t think we want to talk about it.”

However, during last season’s meeting in January 2023, Gay again claimed about the injury: “I don’t know how I got the bruise. I passed out. I don’t know what happened … I can’t talk to anybody else then I went to my room , I passed out and woke up with a black eye.”

After the incident, many speculated that Shah was responsible as the two partied together late that night – and she was also the first person Gay called the next morning.

“I trusted her the most,” Gay told host Andy Cohen during the reunion, adding that she initially wanted Shah’s help in creating a “cover story” as she tried to figure out what happened.

If I had known Jen had done it, I would have covered it up, but that wasn’t my intention, Gay continued. “I was unconscious. Anything could have happened. I still don’t know how it happened.”

Part 1 of The The Real Housewives of Salt Lake City reunion airs Tuesday, January 9 at 8:00 PM ET on Bravo.
