Jenna Bush Hager Shares Hilarious Photo of Daughter Mila Mugging Behind the Scenes in Family NYE Photo

Jenna Bush Hager is welcoming 2024 by celebrating with her family, and her firstborn is stealing everything!

“The happiest new year of us”, the Today co-host, 42, captioned the picture-perfect photo on her Instagram Story, posing with husband Henry Chase Hager, 45, and their three children: daughters Mila, 10, and Poppy, 7, and son Hal, 4, the whole family dressed up and looking very much like Hallmark card.

In one of the following family photos, Bush Hager captured the moment of error, with Mila looking a little gross as she watched her parents share a New Year’s kiss for the photo.

“NY kiss, note Mila,” the mom-of-three wrote, accompanying a hilarious close-up shot of her daughter’s “yuck” reaction in the next clip.

Bush Hager also included a sweet photo of Hal kissing his dad’s cheek.

Last week, Bush Hager described how her 10-year-old daughter Mila felt left out of plans with her mom and aunt — and used queso dip to fight back.

“My oldest child, who shall remain nameless because she doesn’t like me talking about her, turned me on over FaceTime,” the children’s book author told co-host Hoda Kotb on Dec. 29.

Bush Hager went on to explain how she and her twin dined at one of Mila’s favorite places, Taco Cabana, while traveling together.

Mila then decided to make her own queso — “Her mom’s famous recipe … right on the back of Velveeta,” Bush Hager clarified — and FaceTimed her mom to brag about the family favorite. The TV personality showed Mila slowly eating each chip, making a show of enjoying her “dripping” queso.

When “Aunt Barbara” came calling, Mila would stop her queso antics and change her sweet demeanor. “Oh, Aunt Barbara, I love you so much. I don’t want to tempt you.”

After her mom got back on FaceTime, she continued with her repayment plan.

“It’s so bizarre…I got gaslighted. I get gaslighted at least once a day,” Bush Hager joked.

The 10-year-old also made a detailed PowerPoint-level argument for why she deserves to have her own debit card.

“We said no. And we said no. And we said no,” Bush Hager said, then acknowledged that they caved after a precisely detailed speech.
