Jennifer Garner is excited about her daughter Violet’s upcoming graduation!
On Monday, May 20, the 52-year-old actress posted a series of photos on Instagram of herself crying while attending her 18-year-old daughter Violet’s Class of 2024 valedictorian before graduation.
“Tell me you have a degree without telling me you have a degree. 🎓 (Bless our hearts 🥺♥️🤣),” Garner wrote of Violet in the caption.
In the first photo shared, a tearful Garner clapped as she stood in an auditorium full of proud parents during a school ceremony. She then appeared to wipe tears from her face in the next shot as she stood outside wearing a ribbon with her name printed on it.

In November 2023, Garner talked about how her older daughter, Violet, is coping well with college tours before she prepares to leave the nest.
“It’s exciting,” she continued Live with Kelly & Mark. “I see the stress — even though excitement and stress go hand in hand. But she handles it like a champ and is completely in charge. I don’t have to say, ‘Are you doing this, are you doing this?’ ‘ She’s a self-starter and I’m proud of her no matter what.”
