Jennifer Lopez Finally Reveals What Off the Rack Dress She Wore for Las Vegas Wedding to Ben Affleck

Jennifer Lopez is setting the record straight about one of the dresses she wore during her Las Vegas wedding to Ben Affleck in July 2022.

Multi-hyphenated fans started buzzing about the dress after she wrote in it On JLo newsletter that she got married in a “dress from an old movie”.

In a video interview with Diversity released on Tuesday, Lopez told fans it was not the same wedding dress she wore in 2004. Jersey girlas some have speculated, or any of her previous films.

“No, that’s not true,” the 54-year-old told the newspaper. “I wish I had. I wish I had that dress. I don’t have that dress. No, this was the other dress I had.”

Lopez explained that after working at home, she had different wedding dresses Marry me and A shotgun wedding.

“Believe it or not, I did a lot of journalism Marry me or A shotgun wedding or one of those, so I had all those wedding dresses in my house. And when we decided to get married that day in the square, I just had a dress,” she said. “It’s not from a movie. I’ve never worn it in a movie.”

Last month, a source told PEOPLE that Affleck is “proud” of his wife amid her upcoming ninth album release on Friday.

“It was the perfect time to focus on the new album. She loved making new music. She’s very excited [about] it. Ben is proud of her. He is her biggest fan. He likes how hardworking and focused she is,” a source told PEOPLE.

The couple stepped out on Tuesday night at the film’s Los Angeles premiere This is me… now: a love story, which Lopez said was inspired by her real-life love story with Affleck, 51.

“I was like, ‘I’m not writing, I’m not doing this.’ He said: ‘You work, you write, you direct, you produce, you choreograph, you do all the things. Start stepping into it, start owning a piece of who you are,’ she recalled her husband telling her.
