Jennifer Lopez, the American singer, looked gorgeous in her wedding dress in a short ceremony over the weekend where she married fiancé Ben Affleck. The 52-year-old actress revealed her secret marriage to the Argo actor on her official page on July 17, 17 years after they first got engaged.
According to court records obtained by the Today media site, the couple obtained a marriage license from Clark County, Nevada on July 16. The newlyweds wore clothes from their own closets for their gorgeous Las Vegas wedding, according to Lopez’s On the JLo newsletter.

Jennifer Lopez and Ben Affleck wore white for their intimate wedding.
According to her email, the On My Way singer wore two white dresses to the event. Jennifer Lopez wore a long white dress to her small wedding and accessorized with earrings and a silver bracelet. The 52-year-old completed her wedding look with loose hair, misty eyes and bare skin.
She wrote about the dress:
“I’ve had this dress for years and years and years, and I just kept it, kept it, kept it, and now I’m wearing it on my wedding day.”
Chris Appleton, her hairstylist for D-Day, also posted a video on Instagram of the star’s final look before the wedding. Lopez then appeared to change into another Zuhair Murad wedding dress, this time a white lace off-the-shoulder gown with a sweetheart neckline and corset top. The actress completed her ensemble with a similar lace veil. With smoky eyes, nude lips, her typical bronze glow and curls, her make-up was sophisticated but simple.
Lopez previously wore this outfit in her romance movie Marry Me. On the other hand, Ben Affleck dressed in a cream colored jacket over a white shirt and a black bow tie. In her letter, Lopez stated:
“So we recited our own vows in a small chapel and gave each other rings to wear for the rest of our lives, with the best witnesses you can imagine, a dress from an old movie and a blazer from Ben’s closet. “
The performance ended with a white rose pinned to his jacket.
The couple first announced their engagement in 2003.
This is not the couple’s first marriage. They announced their relationship for the first time in July 2002, when their paths crossed on the set of the film Gigli. Within four months of the relationship, they became engaged. However, they ended their romance in 2004. Lopez married Marc Anthony the following year, and in 2008, twins Emma and Maximilian were born. The couple divorced in 2014.
Meanwhile, Ben Affleck married Jennifer Garner in 2005. Violet (16), Seraphina (13) and Samuel (10) are their three children. In 2018, the couple divorced. Jennifer Lopez and Ben Affleck tied the knot in April 2022, after fueling rumors of a 2021 patch.
