Jennifer Lopez is looking for a new home in Los Angeles after spending the summer away from the West Coast.
After returning from an extended stay in the Hamptons and a vacation in Europe prior to that, the Satin star, 55, continues his search for real estate in Los Angeles. She recently got a look at the Beverly Hills home, which a source tells PEOPLE is “truly exceptional.” The listing offers a high level of privacy on a quiet street with A-list neighbors, according to an insider.
It’s “an ideal place for those looking for solitude,” says the source.
Lopez toured another home in May and quietly “looked and looked around,” the source adds, noting that the star has also been looking at properties that aren’t officially on the market, which is common practice for ultra-hot properties.
PEOPLE previously confirmed that her husband Ben Affleck, 51, has finalized the purchase of the new $20.5 million property, which coincidentally closes on Lopez’s birthday, July 24.
The couple have been trying to sell the Beverly Hills mansion they share since buying it for just under $61 million in May 2023. They originally put it off the market in June, but after struggling to find an interested buyer, they decided to list it publicly he announced it for $68 million in early July.

The 12-bedroom, 24-bathroom, 38,000-square-foot property has been “recently renovated to the highest level of quality,” according to the listing, and features amenities such as a bar, sports lounge, fully equipped gym, boxing ring, and basketball and pickleball courts.
Celebrity realtor Josh Flagg, who is not connected to the home, told PEOPLE earlier this month that since Affleck and Lopez are publicly listing the home at a price “relatively close to what they paid for it,” it’s likely they’ll “either break even or take small loss.”

Lopez and Affleck are spending the summer apart amid reports of strain in their marriage.
The singer has been spending time on Long Island, where she has a home, including celebrating her birthday with family and friends at a Bridgerton-themed bash, and hanging out with her twins Emma and Max, 16, who she shares with ex Marc Anthony, as well as her stepdaughter, Violet Affleck, 18, whose mother is Ben’s ex Jennifer Garner.

Ben and Garner are also parents to Seraphine Rose, 15, and Samuel, 12.
Ben, meanwhile, has mostly been in Los Angeles, where he lived in a rented house in Brentwood before finding his new place. A source told PEOPLE in late June that she was moving her belongings out of the Beverly Hills home while Lopez was on vacation with friends in Italy.
Lopez also landed another solo real estate deal. She closed on the sale of her New York apartment, which went under contract in April after several years on and off the market. The Delola founder found a buyer, selling the NoMad property for $23 million on the same day Ben was closing on his new home, on her birthday. Lopez bought the apartment for just over $20 million in 2014, according to The The New York Times.
