Jennifer Lopez Nods at Her ‘Jenny from the Block Days’ in Low-Cut Jumpsuit and Baseball Cap at Bronx Screening

Jennifer Lopez’s latest outfit pays homage to her past.

On Thursday, the 54-year-old superstar turned heads as she stepped out at AMC Bay Plaza in New York City’s Bronx (her hometown!) for a screening of her film This is me… now: a love story. The “Jenny from the Block” singer appeared to be referencing her iconic style of the early aughts by donning an archive blue Donna Karan collection jumpsuit and black leather baseball cap.

In addition to the hat, Lopez accessorized with a matching duster-style coat, black leather gloves and black heels. To complete the ensemble, she added an assortment of chunky silver necklaces and earrings.

In keeping with the throwback theme, Lopez opted for a smoky cat-eye look paired with a classic full blowout.

Last summer, the singer also stunned in an outfit that gave off similar vibes.

While shopping for furniture at Big Daddy’s Antiques near Culver City, Lopez wore baggy, high-waisted jeans artfully ripped at the knees and a white crop top that flashed her chiseled abs and toned biceps, finishing the look with her hair pulled back into a top-knot. , her signature gold accessories including chunky earrings and a gold wrist cuff, plus a tiny beige shoulder bag.

More recently, Lopez’s style pays homage to the viral ‘mob wife’ trend as she parades a merry-go-round of JLo glam looks while promoting her new autobiographical Amazon musical, which just came out. Earlier on Thursday, she stepped out in New York City to promote her upcoming film wearing three completely different outfits, which also fit in with TikTok’s viral “mob wife” aesthetic.

For her first look, Lopez was seen in Times Square rocking some winter white vibes in what appeared to be a faux fur coat paired with cropped pants with laces at the bottom.

Posing for the photos, Lopez — no stranger to the faux fur look — stood in front of a billboard celebrating her upcoming project, wearing a pair of large black shades and wearing her hair in a bun.

Another of Lopez’s looks on Thursday featured black pants, a purple fur coat, black gloves and a plaid hat as she arrived at a taping for NBC Today. She completed the look with black sunglasses as she waved her hair down to onlookers this time.

Lopez’s stylist Rob Zangardi tagged ALAÏA in Instagram photos of the look, which also appeared to feature a sleek cropped black top.

“THIS IS ME…NOW,” Zangardi wrote alongside the photos, which Lopez also posted.
