The ‘Bear’ star admitted he was surprised by fans’ reaction to his one-word response to Alexa Demia’s Calvin Klein ad
Jeremy Allen White actively navigates the slavonians – including the pitfalls of social media.
Bear star, 32, was taken aback by the attention, to which he responded with one word Euphoria photo of star Alexa Demia in Calvin Klein underwear received in August. At the time, White wrote “wow” in the comments section of the actress’ Instagram video.
When the comment sparked a flurry of fan chatter and follow-up, the actor soon felt the need to reach out to his publicist. “I was like, ‘I just need to shut up… I just shouldn’t say anything,'” he told British GQ. “And she was like, ‘Sort of.’

The Golden Globe winner also addressed managing his personal life – including his divorce from wife Addison Timlin – in the public eye following the film’s success Bear.
“It was crazy,” he said of the last year of his life. “A lot of high highs, a lot of terribly low lows.”

He added that he was also new to being followed by the paparazzi, saying: “It’s such a weird aspect of this thing that I really never thought I’d ever be involved with. It’s not fun, it’s not nice and it’s really weird.”
“They know where I live,” he adds. “There was a period when they were just cool and I would withdraw [of the driveway]they would follow me, and when I came home, they were there.”

Back in February, White opened vanity fair about how he handled all the attention he was getting from fans because of Bearsaying, “I really don’t pay too much attention to it.”

Although he chooses not to focus on it, there is someone else keeping White informed. “My mom tells me what they’re saying on Twitter, which is nice,” he revealed.
“I’ve been acting since I was 18. I was on [Shameless] For 11 years it was popular, but then I didn’t get as much attention as I do now,” he continued. “I feel very lucky that everything was so gradual because I was already able to find my footing. I feel really bad for a young actor or someone who just doesn’t have a lot of experience when they suddenly break through; in which case it might be more devastating.”
