Jeremy Renner Visits Reno Hospital Where He Was Treated for Near-Fatal Snowplow Accident 1 Year Later

Jeremy Renner is feeling thankful.

The actor, 52, shared a post on Instagram on Friday, revealing that he recently visited the Reno, Nevada hospital where he was treated for a near-fatal snowplow accident a year ago.”Rollin through Reno, NV with joy, blessings and 🍕!! !!” Renner wrote alongside a photo of him riding in the RennerVation Foundation’s fire truck.

“I stopped by to see the kids/superheroes, EMS and doctors, nurses and staff at Renown Hospital. I honor and celebrate the love, life and blessings it brings to us all,” he continued, referring to the nonprofit hospital where he stayed during his recovery .

Added Renner, “Thank you and this community for keeping me here.. I am forever in your debt of gratitude #loveandtitanium.”

Jeremy Renner says plow accident taught him ‘not to waste your life’: ‘It’s my duty’

Last year, Renner broke more than 30 bones and underwent multiple surgeries after being run over by a plow while helping his nephew pull a stuck vehicle out of the snow on his Reno property on New Year’s Day.

Since the accident, Avengers: Endgame the star spoke openly about her road to recovery. In an emotional Instagram post in November, Renner revealed all the treatments he underwent to get back to health.

“I’ve been exploring ALL kinds of therapy since January 14th … every day,” he wrote. “Countless hours of physical therapy, peptide injections, IV drips and pushes, stem cells and exosomes, red light/IR therapy, 2.0 atmosphere hyperbaric chamber, cold plunge, and the list goes on and on…”

Renner then said his biggest therapy was “his mind” and his “will to keep pushing his recovery.” He added that he felt it was his “duty” to be “exceptional” after the accident, noting: “Not to waste my life since I was spared, but to give back to my family, friends and all of you who have empowered me to endure.”

Jeremy Renner To Release ‘New Music Diary’ Called ‘Wait’ On 1st Anniversary Of Snowplow Accident

Renner plans to mark the first anniversary of his accident next month by publishing what he describes as a “new music diary” called “Wait.”

“Wait,” the star’s rep confirmed to PEOPLE, is the title of Renner’s upcoming single.

In an Instagram post in December, Renner teased the project, writing, “A new music diary — a story of life, death, recovery, all the things we’ve learned along the way.”

He also shared what appears to be the cover of the single, which shows Renner with his arm around his daughter, Ava Berlin Renner, 10, as they sit on a dock overlooking the water.

“Wait” will be available for purchase and streaming on January 1st.
