Jessica Biel Gets Stuck on Plane Unable to Land Amid ‘Crazy Snow Storm,’ Kills Times in the Most Relatable Way

Jessica Biel makes the most of a nightmare travel day.

In a TikTok titled “Airline Chronicles Part 1,” the actress, 41, documented her experience of being stuck on a plane that couldn’t land at its destination due to extreme weather conditions.

“I’m on a short flight right now and we can’t land because of this crazy snowstorm,” she says in the clip she shared on Wednesday. “It makes the runway inhospitable to land on.”

While waiting for news, she discovers one thing that worries her as the plane continues to circle.

“Luckily, I brought all my favorite snacks — and I brought more,” she says, continuing to show off pistachios, a fruit bar, a clementine, and more as she says “favorite” to each one as she holds them up.

The mother of two adds that although she regrets not packing a lunch, she is happy that she remembered to pack a “triple” snack before she left in the morning.

“And just for good measure, in case it gets really, really desperate up here…” he says as he holds up a purple box labeled Mini Karaoke Machine. “How much would this plane literally want to kill me if I took out this microphone to start karaoke with them. Should I try it?”

Biel concludes the video with a series of reminders: “Bring your lunch, bring your snacks on the plane.”

Jessica Biel showed off her favorite snacks she packed with her for the plane in a video posted to TikTok on Wednesday.

She dedicated the video to her famous friend, Mindy Kaling, in reference to The Mindy Project star’s airplane salad, which she shared on Instagram in November. Kaling revealed that the salad was inspired by Biel when they were on the same flight together more than a decade ago and Biel remembered to pack her own lunch.

“I remembered this once, maybe 14 years ago, when I was sitting next to @jessicabiel on a flight. After an hour she pulled this container out of her bag,” Kaling recalled. “It contained the most delicious homemade salad, which was definitely a better option than anything I’ve eaten. I always wanted to ask her what the recipe was!”

Biel also had a mini karaoke machine with her on the plane.

Referring to the memory, Biel gave a shout-out to Kaling in her TikTok, ending with, “I love you Mindy.”

In the latest update of her travel day, Biel revealed that her “epic journey” of being stuck on a plane is still going on.

“This epic journey continues,” she said in the video. “Now we’re sitting at the Salt Lake City airport outpost, not allowed to get off, trying to refuel and actually get back in the air. And now I’m really mad that I didn’t bring lunch.”

She continues, “Okay, the plot thickens. Let’s go back and see if the wind has died down and if they have cleared the ice from the runway. See if it’s possible to land without being blown away by the sky. If not, come back to LA”

The actress ends the video cheerfully: “We finally landed. We did it. Wow, that was crazy. I hope everyone travels safely wherever they go.”
