Jessica Biel is the proud mother of a boy.
While promoting her debut children’s book, Children’s book about periods, the actress, 42, took part in PEOPLE’s Kids Interview, and the kids asked her about everything from her skin care routine to her favorite dress she wore this year. When asked what her favorite part of being a mom to a boy is, the mom of two shared a sweet answer.
“Hi Miss Jessica! I’m Kai, I’m 5 years old. What’s the best thing about being a mom of a boy?” the boy asks Biel in the video.
“Oh my God, Kai! You are irresistible. I have a 9-year-old son and a 3-year-old son. The best thing about being a mom to a boy is playing,” Biel replies.

“I think playing with my sons is the most fun. Wrestling, playing LEGO, building LEGO, swimming, playing sports, reading together. I love spending time with them, and I love getting down and dirty with them on the floor and just having fun .I’m not worried about getting dirty or anything like that.
Biel shares sons Phineas, 3½, and Silas, 9, with husband Justin Timberlake.
In April, Biel shared a post on her Instagram, posing with her sons as they joined their musician father on tour. Dressed in Timberlake’s tour ad, the singer’s boys struck a pose as Biel knelt and held a light-up microphone.
The proud mom also included a solo video of her sons, who are facing away from the camera, showing off their dad’s concert shirts. In the third photo, Timberlake, 43, hugged his wife as they looked into each other’s eyes backstage.
“It’s a family thing,” Biel wrote in the caption.
In February, Timberlake opened up about the story The Graham Norton Show about his family of four.
“I have two wonderful children, who are going to be the death of me,” Timberlake joked on the show. “But yes, two boys and a wonderful wife and I’m very happy,” he said, playfully adding, “Is that controversial these days?”
