Jessica Chastain Brings Vibrant Color to the Red Carpet in Show-Stopping Corset Gown

Jessica Chastain shined at the National Board of Review ceremony in New York on Thursday.

The star (46) appeared on the red carpet for the first time this year at the ceremony, where she was the presenter. Chastain dazzled in a floor-length Vivienne Westwood gown that overflowed with magenta and purple. The tight neckline of the strapless dress fell down and cinched her waist.

She added a multicolored diamond tennis necklace and opted for a light pink makeup look. She wore her long red hair down in simple waves, keeping the rest of her look in focus.

Last year, Law and order The actress made headlines for her flawless red carpet style, from a hot pink ball gown by Zuhair Murad to a sheer crystallized cobweb dress by Oscar de la Renta at the 2023 Golden Globes. In fact, at the latter, she admitted to having a fashion emergency case before the show, but her tailor came to her rescue.

At the Met Gala, she ditched her signature red hair for a platinum blonde wig while wearing an all-black ensemble: a tulle dress with opera gloves and black sunglasses, topped off with a statement necklace.

During the International Film Festival in Venice, while promoting her film Memory, Chastain wore a shimmering v-neck dress by Gucci. The bespoke dress was paired with Bulgari earrings and rings.

The National Board of Review Gala honors the best films of the past year as decided by an exclusive group of film enthusiasts, filmmakers, professionals and academics.

Among the awardees at this year’s gala is Martin Scorsese Killers of the Flower Moon for best film and director, as well as best actress for Lily Gladstone. The Holdovers stars Paul Giamatti and Da’Vine Joy Randolph will take home Best Actor and Best Supporting Actress, while Mark Ruffalo will win Best Supporting Actor for Poor people.
